How To Handle A Cheating Partner?

When confronted with the truth that your partner is cheating, you’ll probably do what any normal person will do: get angry. You’re entirely justified if you do this. But the truth is, anger does more harm than good.

Handle this with less theatrics and drama and more sense. If you decide not to forgive him or her for his or her transgressions, at least you have your class and pride intact.

1. Know more about the situation.

It’s easy to be swayed by evidences because that is what your eyes are expecting to see. Before you jump to conclusions, talk to your partner. Lay all the information you know about this situation out. Give him or her a chance to take defense or refute. After that, verify.

One of the foundations of a good relationship is trust. But it also doesn’t hurt to verify. Jumping to conclusions can make you look like a fool in the end. You should also try speaking to the other party to know more about whatever relationship is happening between them and your partner.

2. Ask yourself this question: are you capable of swallowing the painful truth and forgiving your partner?

If you are, then forgive and let this be something that will strengthen your relationship p. But if not, make your choice right now and let your partner know.

I would suggest giving your partner a second chance. But once he or she breaks it again, it is time to sever ties. If he or she is not willing to stay in a monogamous relationship, there’s no point in staying in it.

3. After you found out your partner is cheating, don’t confront him or her immediately.

Take the time to cool off. You don’t want sincere talk over this matter be muddled by tears or anger. Choose a good place to talk. Have some privacy when you confront him or her with this matter. If you manage to salvage your relationship, you don’t want angry words thrown at each other in the heat of the moment to get in between you.

Cheating is a serious offense in a romantic relationship, especially in marriage. However, separation is not always the answer to all of your problems. Think of it as a learning experience that will show you the true weakness of being human, and soon you will realize that it makes you a more understanding and loving partner.

What Does Being A Gentleman Mean In The 2000s?

Though the term originated in reference to wealthy, educated, land-owning males, “gentleman” has come to more generally signify a man who is considerate, chivalrous, and well-mannered. You might think gentlemen have all but vanished off the face of the earth, a dying breed, a relic of a more polite, more honorable time. You’ll be happy to hear, however, that gentlemen do exist in this modern age. Gentlemen these days may not have the same code of conduct or mannerisms as days gone by, but the underlying ideals of politeness and respect remain the same. Here’s what being a gentlemen means in this brave new world of ours.

Basic Manners, Guys

This might sound silly and obvious, but practicing basic, common-knowledge manners is a fundamental tenet of being a gentleman, both in days gone by and in our modern world. There are the more simple rules, such as chewing with your mouth closed, not interrupting others when they speak, and shaking someone’s hand when you first meet them—all the stuff your mom nagged you about growing up. Then there’s the more abstract stuff, like communicating to others that you’re engaged and interested in what they’re saying, and being thoughtful and even anticipatory in regards to the needs and desires of those around you. Manners are all about communicating respect to the people you interact with, and by doling out respect you, in effect, become respectable yourself.

Treat Your Lady Right!

Now that you’ve got basic manners down, let’s move on to a more complex, yet infinitely rewarding, aspect of modern gentlemanliness: how to treat women. Just because women have gained legal and societal equality (for the most part) does not mean we don’t appreciate being treated nicely. Showing the women in your life respect, kindness, and thoughtfulness will, without fail, earn you major admiration and esteem. How exactly do you go about this? Bring the lady in your life some flowers, surprise her with some jewelry (if you don’t want to break the bank, shop around for some affordable diamond value), or plan an overnight trip to somewhere she’s been dying to go—you’re pretty much trying to figure out ways to show her you care about her and really do listen to what she has to say. Even small things, like opening the door for her or giving her your jacket if it’s cold, go a long way toward winning some major gentleman points.

Wear Your Feminism On Your Sleeve

An absolutely essential part of being a gentleman in today’s society is not only treating women right, but respecting their rights, their equality, and their status as a fellow human being as well. These days, women don’t want to be put up on a pedestal, they don’t want to be patronized, and they don’t want to be treated like a different species. So while it’s important to show the women in your life you care about them by doing nice things for them, it’s equally (if not more) important to communicate your utmost respect for women, their rights, and their abilities. This should, hopefully, not be too difficult, as it pretty much just entails treating women like human beings. You’d be surprised, however, how much it means to encounter pro-women males in a world where we’re still fighting against sexism in our everyday lives.

All of us, even the ladies, could handle being more polite, more thoughtful, and more progressive, so in a way being a gentleman is about striving to be a better human being. So get out there and make the world a little bit brighter with your gentlemanliness today!

I Just Love Dancing

I will never forget this day. It was toward the end of the year, I think it was a Sunday, I was seven years old and that year my sister had started going to dancing classes. I actually hadn’t taken much notice I don’t think. She used to go once a week to dance class and this was some end of year concert she had a practice for. It was at the local high school auditorium and I think Mum and I were dropping her off to the practice. But we went in – and it felt like at that moment my life changed forever. I was captivated and completely and utterly taken away like I had fallen in love. I wanted to be part of whatever this was and I sat on this chair watching intently and I didn’t move. I don’t know exactly what it was about it but I wanted to be there and I didn’t want to go home and I didn’t. Mum let me stay there when she went home and when she came to pick up my sister to take her home I still didn’t want to leave. So I didn’t, I stayed sitting on this chair all day watching practice after practice of every age group and could not get enough of it – especially when it got to the older girls doing their routines – I was in heaven, I was in love and did not want it to end. I suppose that’s just human nature to be really affected when you find something you love  – it moves you and you have no control over it.

Dancing is more addictive than any drug

There’s something about dance rehearsal that I love – the feeling is almost addictive, I still get the sensation now when I see a video clip of genuine dance rehearsal – the dirty scuffed stage floor, the empty seating, dancers in their sloppy dance wear– legwarmers and tights – the dance teacher counting them in, determined to get the result they want – the precision of each move being perfected, the playback over and over and of course the rhythm of the music and the power of the dancing.

I was never going to be the same again

When I think about it now I think this moment might have been so significant for me not just because I suddenly realized how much I loved watching people dance and I knew I wanted to learn to dance too but I think this was something I grabbed onto like my life depended on it – like it was going to be my lifeline or my way to survive somehow – I don’t really know but the intensity I felt was so strong it was like it became my meaning to life and I took up dancing with a vengeance the following year.

Online Dating is Become More Popular for College Students

Are you a busy college student who just doesn’t have as much time as your friends to go out and live it up? Sure, you want to meet new people, but your studies and your grades come first. You would rather make Dean’s list than get a date or go to a party. You value your education. At times, you think that it would be nice to meet someone who has the same values as you do. While your friends are all going out to drink and dance, you decide to look online and see if you can find someone with the same goals and interests as you do. Online dating is becoming more popular for college students because it is convenient and because no one has to know you’re doing it.

Online dating websites do require you to make an account, but your friends don’t have to know. Because most of the correspondence is done online, it stays between you and the person you are talking to. If you decide to go out on a date, you do not have to tell your friends. This can be a great way to meet new people as well. You will get to learn a bit about the person before you ever talk to them. Online dating profiles require you to write a bit about yourself and your interests. You can decide whether or not the person seems appealing to you and if you think they are someone that you would like to get to know, you can contact them. If not, on to the next one. Many students find that this is convenient for them because they are socially awkward or just aren’t as much of a social butterfly as their friends. If you should find someone to date online, you can choose to delete the account, and you should know that you can delete at any time. You will no longer have to face rejection like you would on campus or even the embarrassment of walking into a classroom with someone you dated and broke up with. Many people take comfort in this and for this reason alone have resorted to online dating.

Whatever your reason may be to look into online dating, now is the time. If you want to meet someone new in your spare time without the commitment or social awkwardness, online dating can be a perfect way for you to do it. Try it out and see if you like it. Many college students are. If you do not like it, you can always delete your account and go back to dating the traditional way with no harm done. Your friends won’t have to know and you won’t have to face embarrassment. It will only take a few minutes out of your day to set up an account and if something good comes from it, it’ll all be worth it in the end!
