Shrek virus allowed 30,000 ‘ugly’ people to join dating site exclusive for beautiful people

A computer virus can do many things. It can allow you to enter a place where you are not supposed to go. A recent case discovered that Shrek virus has allowed 30,000 ‘ugly’ people to gain access of dating site reserved exclusively for beautiful people. Beutifulpeople.com has 700,000 members worldwide and Soon after the discovery of Shrek virus, 30000 new members (including 11,934 Americans) had been removed from the members list. Authority are expecting the involvement of an angry reject or a former employee as the culprit.

The managing editor of the website, Greg Hodge, told that “We got suspicious when tens of thousands of new members were accepted over a six-week period, many of whom were no oil painting,.” According to the website guideline and software a person has to be passed through a “rating” stage where existing members vote for their suitability for being accepted as member in the this dating site. Virus took away the rating module and it allowed anyone to take the membership.
